CL_AllianceRibbon_Ghost (Assessment)Within the Assessment for Learning strand, Catapult Learning’s products and service focus on the question, “How well does the school use assessment, data, and feedback to promote learning?”

Our program—including Focus on Achievement, Coaching Connections, and our series of Seminars & Coaching—help schools learn to use assessment data to both inform instruction and promote student ownership of learning. The outcomes of exemplary school practices within the area of Assessment for Learning modeled through Catapult’s offerings include the following four attributes:

  1. Teachers use multiple strategies to assess achievement, and analyze data to inform instruction.
  2. Students understand the learning objectives being set for them by the school and the teacher, and actively participate in evaluation of performance and monitoring of progress.
  3. School leaders analyze a variety of assessment data to evaluate teacher efficacy and inform decisions on professional development.
