Whether in preparation for the GED or the workplace, our academic skill remediation programs help adult learners improve their skills in academic subjects.

Coursework is individualized based on the results of TABE and APEX learning assessment, which form the basis for each student’s Individual Student Portfolio (ISP). Students learn in small group settings that combine one-on-one tutoring with group, independent, and computer-assisted learning to build participants’ skills in reading, language arts, and math. And we track progress through post-program testing.

As with all our programs, the duration, timing, budget, content, and location of the offerings are tailored to the needs of our clients and their participants.

All students are tested at program’s end to assess their progress. Our goal is to advance students at least one grade level in about 20 hours of instructional time per subject.
