Catapult Learning will provide on site professional development coaches to assist individual faculty members during regularly scheduled school days or after school on a regularly scheduled basis. The Catapult Learning Coach will deliver small, informal workshops, conduct classroom observations, provide demonstrations of and model various instructional strategies in the classroom and follow up with teachers in ongoing consultations.
At the beginning of the year, the PD Coach will consult with school administration to identify the teachers to be served - the entire school faculty, grade level teams or beginning teachers.
Before the school year commences, PD Coaches will meet with school administrators to ascertain all of the necessary scheduling requirements of the school and to mutually plan regular meeting times, initial activities, mini-workshop possibilities and all other details that will be designed to allow the Catapult Learning Coach's role within the school to be as seamless and meaningful as possible.
