It’s a fact. When parents get involved, students are more engaged, more committed to learning, and they achieve more.

Fostering parental involvement is central to everything we do. We keep parents informed, connected, and welcomed in every area of our instructional services through annual meetings, parent conferences, formal and informal communications, guest reading opportunities, progress reports, and classroom visits.

Our Catapult Learning Parent Involvement Workshops focus on supporting connections between family and the school. Workshops are scheduled at convenient times for parents—during report card conference days, PTA events, or other times throughout the day.

Our Home Connections™ Program offers further and more focused opportunities for parents and children to work successfully together at home.

This program offers:

• Parent workshops focused on helping parents to work successfully with their children at home
• Home activities kits from our sister companies Hooked on Phonics™ and Reading  Rainbow™
• Parent Hotlines to support parents as they work with the Home Connections materials at home

Our Family Connections™ Program assigns a master’s level professional to each participating school on a regularly scheduled basis, working with the school, students, and parents to foster effective school/family partnerships that will enhance students' school performance. Services are customize to each school community and may include:

• Education, counseling and consultation for parents/guardians in a variety of formats
• Professional development and consultation with school personnel
• Referral and advocacy for families with community service agencies

We keep our schedules flexible in order to meet with parents when and where they are available.
