Catapult Learning’s reading and math curriculum content and teaching strategies are in alignment with state standards, the findings of the National Reading Panel (2000) and National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (2000). Since the effectiveness of any instructional program depends in large measure on the teachers, Catapult Learning uses its extensive experience to recruit, select and hire qualified, certified professionals. All Catapult Learning instructors receive extensive training and mentoring, including pre-service training in assessment and best practices in instruction. In addition, Catapult Learning's staff attends regularly scheduled inservice training designed to provide assistance and support as they implement a program designed for your school.

Standard Program Design
Using results from student assessments and input from the classroom teacher, our certified Title I teacher develops an individual plan for each student, which addresses each student's skill gaps and builds on his or her current skills. Individual learning needs within each group are clearly identified and addressed during instruction. Students receive instruction sessions in small groups either throughout the school year or in summer school sessions. During the school year, Catapult Learning can accommodate each school's preference for either pull out or extended day services. Instruction programs include on-going regular coordination with classroom teachers, a comprehensive parent involvement component and an annual program evaluation.
