At Catapult Learning, we believe parent involvement is essential to improving student performance and keeping students engaged and committed to learning. In fact, educational research has shown a strong and positive correlation between parent involvement in education and student achievement.
In an effort to help foster that partnership, Catapult Learning’s parent involvement programs offer schools variety of options. Our instructional programs integrate parent involvement into all aspects of our instructional services. Through annual meetings, parent conferences, formal and informal communications, guest reading opportunities, progress reports, and classroom visits, parents are interwoven into all aspects of our programs.

Home Connections™
Catapult Learning’s Home Connections™ program offers opportunities for parents and children to work successfully together at home.
We combine:
- Home activities kits provided by our sister companies; Hooked on Phonics™ and Reading Rainbow™
- Two parent workshops designed to help parents to work successfully with their children at home and in working
- Parent Hotlines to assist parents as they are working with the Home Connections™ materials at home.
Family Connections™
Our Family Connections Program offers a comprehensive array of services, provided by a Master's level professional who is assigned to each participating school on a regularly scheduled basis. Services are designed to foster effective school/family partnerships to enhance students' school performance.
Customized to the school community and culture, our Family Connections Program services include:
- Education, Counseling and Consultation for parents/guardians in a variety of formats
- Professional Development and Consultation with school personnel
- Referral and Advocacy for families with community service agencies
Our professionals are flexible in order to meet with parents when and where they are available.
