AchieveMath High School
Overview
High school students who struggle with basic mathematics often face ridicule from peers, suffer from low self-esteem, and are more likely to underperform in other academic areas. Without the right intervention, many won’t graduate.
That’s why we created AchieveMath High School. It’s a program developed for ninth through twelfth-graders who need more intensive math instruction than what’s available in a regular classroom setting. Besides improving their understanding of key branches of mathematics such as computation, geometry, algebra, data analysis and more, students who participate in AchieveMath High School learn strategies to help pass the high school exit exam. What’s more, they build the confidence they need to reach their fullest potential in and beyond high school.
Taught by district or Catapult teachers in a small-group setting, AchieveMath High School aligns with local and national standards is supported by powerful curriculum materials along with a rich use of manipulatives. The program is grounded in key research conducted by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the National Math Panel.
